Being surrounded by high mountain ranges, Northwest Vietnam keeps legendary beauty of forests and mountains with white plum blossoms, gentle “ban flowers” and immense garden of grangea maderaspatana. Rough winding roads in the Northwest make appeal to those those who love adventure and conquering. Sapa features rolling mountains, verdant valleys, small quaint villages, vast bamboo forests and beautiful terraced fields stretching to the horizon. You are advised to go up the Heaven Gate where cloud is within your reach. Visitors to Sapa are certainly surprized by amazing panoramic view of the majestic Hoang Lien Son range. From afar, Hmong girls are graceful and charming in their colorful shirts and scarves.
Sapa market in Sunday mornings is a typical one in the moutainous Northwest Vietnam. Visitors come to the market to enjoy the specialties which can be found in mountainous areas only. Items display for sale in the market are diverse, including brocade bags, scarves, fancy embroidered cloth, a few cups of corn wine, red pepper, green vegetables and some black pigs. All are mixed in a multicolor space.
Mountains gives you a sense of conquering the nature while the sea may make you overwhelmed by its poetic harmonious space. Looking down from above, Halong Bay boasts thousands of islands and islets scattered here and there creating an amazing spectacle. That is why UNESCO has recognized Halong Bay as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Limestone mountains and islands in various shapes constitute unique charm of the bay. Its long coastal line of 120 km in length holds diverse fauna and flora system.
Along nearly 1,800 km central coast from Thanh Hoa to Binh Thuan lie many beautiful bays and deep-water ports. The Central Vietnam is famous not only for Nha Trang and Mui Ne but also for other beach destinations such as Nhat Le beach, Cua Tung beach and My Khe beach. Sun-drenched beaches in the Central boasts silky white sandy stretch, lines of coconut trees swaying in the wind and crystal clear water. The land is also home to the famous Hoi An Ancient Town and Hue Royal City.
No high rocky mountains like the Northwest, no long wave-lapped beaches like Halong Bay, the Mekong Delta attracts tourists by its intricate canal system and traditional sweet melody. Can Tho City is located on the south bank of Hau River, which is a section of the Mekong River. On two sides of the river located many bridges which facilitate trade among western provinces. Also located on the gentle Hau River, Cai Rang floating market has long been a focal point of regional wholesale fruit. Boat and canoe are not only vehicles but also "mobile apartment" of the locals. Cai Rang Floating Market is one of unique attractions in Can Tho, which is typical for the local culture. The market is a magnet to tourists, especially foreign ones.
Talking about Ben Tre, the best image is forests of coconut trees queueing on banks of canals and rivers.
