Explore Yangon which is known as “The Garden City of the East” through its top pagodas such as Sule, Botataung, Chaukhtatgyi and, notably, Shwedagon. Then fly to Bagan where place over 2200 temples and pagodas. Enjoy a beautiful panoramic view on the top of Mount Popa best known as a pilgrimage site, with numerous Nat temples and relic sites atop the mountain.
Day 1. Arrival to Yangon & Sightseeing (L/D)
Upon arrival to Yangon Airport, our company guide welcome you and take you to your hotel. Once you are ready, Sightseeing starts! Sightseeing includes Sule Pagoda at first. You will see many watch-repairers and photo-shop and Astrologer Palmist Shop around the Pagoda, City Hall and other colonial buildings. Continue to BOTATAUNG PAGODA, named after the 1000 military leaders who escorted relics of the Buddha from India over 2000 years ago. Visit CHAUKHTATGYI PAGODA, the reclining Buddha in Yangon. Finally, continue to the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, the highlight of any visit to Yangon. Towering over the city, this pagoda is the most sacred place in the country, built to house eight hair relics of the Buddha. The Shwedagon and surrounding shrines are at their most beautiful during the sunset hour, as the golden stupa reflects the changing colors of twilight. Overnight in Hotel

Day 2. Yangon- Bagan (Nyaung U) (B/L/D)
After early breakfast at hotel, our transfer shall take you to the Airport for flight to Bagan (Nyaung U). Upon arrival, our guide will welcome and transfer you to the hotel. Right after, a morning tour shall take you to the following highlights: Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar Stupas; Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple, it´s known for the fine mural paintings of Jataka Scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings; Tharabar Gate and Shwegugyi Temple, a magnific example of transitional style between the Early and Late Bagan Period. After a refreshing lunch break, afternoon
sightseeing shall take you Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece with a base resembling a temple with a Greek Cross basis; Ananda Okkyaung, a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Dhammayangyi, a massive temple with the finest brick-work; and also to visit Bupaya Pagoda on the bank of majestic Ayeyarwaddy River. Day 3. Bagan- Mt. Popa- Bagan (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, a morning excursion to beautiful Mount Popa shall start. Located 50Km sout-east of Bagan, once upon a time a Vulcano, the Mt. Popa holds on top a budhist temple. It takes 777 steps (approximately 45minutes) to reach the summit and where you can admire the temple Mahagiri Shrine, dedicated to the “Nats”(spirits), there´s different stupas and a picturesque complex of monasteries. From the top of the mountain, youshall be able to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. On the way back, depending on the season, one can observe local harvesting and preparation of palm tree juices on local villages, also villagers produce palm wine and peanut oil. On that evening, we shall reach Bagan. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 4. Bagan (Nyaung U)- Yangon Departure (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver shall pick you up and take you to Nyaung Airport for a domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, our driver shall take you to your hotel. Once you are ready, Yangon sightseeing continues! We shall take you to Chauk Htatt Kyi, while the name means “six story building” this temple is famous for it’s huge reclining Buddha Image. Later, we shall continue to Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly known Scott Market), where you can find wide range of souvenirs, handicraft shops, gems and then transfer to the airport for return flight. Arrive home with wonderful souvenirs & sweet memories of your memorable holiday.
